From the Kris-Mar parking lot take North Hills Trail across from parking lot and ride back toward Subway shop on the trail. Come out on road near Subway shop, go left past McDonalds and left again on Glendale Rd. Part way up Glendale Rd. you will take Glendale trail up to the water tank and then hit the trails in Kris Mar Woods. There are a couple loops in there. You will leave Kris-Mar Woods after making all the loops and take Glendale Rd. to Cisler Dr. Ride Cisler Dr. to a point noted on the map. There is a somewhat sharp left hand turn with a large grassy yard on your left. Trail is on the right, singletrack, goes down the hill toward the High School. When you get to the High School after a short very steep climb go left and ride the figure eight around the school. When you leave the school you will ride down to Colgate Dr. and go right. Follow Colgate to the red light and go left at Glendale rd. Go about 100 feet and North Hills Trail will go right in the field. Follow the singletrack around through a field till it turns into the woods behind Washington State College. The North Hills Trail will take you all the way to Norword section of Marietta. Once there ride down the blacktop hill, you will be forced right and then take next left go one block and turn right on Green Street. Follow Green St. till you are about a block from the 7th St. intersection. You will see a brick street on your right that dead ends in about 60 feet. Turn up it, then take the trail on your left up past the steps. This is an old, old road which is now more singletrack. when you top the hill go straight till the road curves left and take the next right. At bottom of blacktop hill turn left and then stay left at the next intersection. At the yeild sign go left again and you will be back at Glendale Rd. near the intersection of Glendale Trail. You can finish by going around by McDonalds or by climbing back up Glendale Trail and riding some more Kris-Mar Trails back to vehicle.
This loop begins at the Kris-Mar Wood Trail head behind Tractor Supply at the Waypoint noted. You will drive past Subway, through the parking lot, past Tractor Supply. Take a right at the stop sign and then left into small gravel parking area. It is not unusual for us to use the large blacktop parking lot near tractor supply.
